Georgetown Lodge

The lodge was super quaint and cute! Reasonably priced and a great experience with the board games provided for use and also the pool table/ping pong in the main building. The hot tubs were clean and hot, but a storm had knocked out the main lighting, so it was a little dim after dark, but really it enhanced the ambiance with the lower lighting. Breakfast was provided - waffles, muffins, Danishes, coffee, juice etc. There is a Dollar General within walking distance as well. We were there during Christmas and the ambience of the main office "lodge" was super festive - tree and lights, etc. The place sits in the valley of the mountains, about 10 minutes away from Idaho Springs - where we had plans on Christmas Eve, so it was super accessible.

I booked the Georgetown Lodge online on a last minute decision to visit the area. Everything went smoothly from reserving the room to check-out. The room was showing its age but everything was in working order (except for the broken control knob for the overhead fan). The bed was comfortable. The limited breakfast menu was all that we needed to get us started for the day. And the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We also liked the location with our view of the mountainside. Overall, a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Great lodge in Georgetown - a good location to nearby ski mountains. Breakfast was simple and nice to have, and includes kitchen area in the lodge with a microwave to reheat leftovers too. Nice option for guest laundry, and hot tubs were nice to have after a day on the mountains. Rooms are a little dated (but hopefully you’re not spending as much time in the rooms anyway).

Good location with easy accessibility to other visiting places like Vail/Frisco/WinterPark/Fraser/Brekenridge. Vintage lodge but well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had problem with room that we checked in but property manager was helpful and addressed the issue immediately & moved us to different room. Appreciate the services. Breakfast is ok. Value for money.

The general manager Kerry was incredible. She doesn't just give good customer service, she treats you as a friend which is extremely rare. Her alone makes this lodge warm and inviting. There's hot tubs and games, books, and toys. A pool table, fuseball, and ping pong as well. Great for families. Highly recommend.

The rooms are cozy perfect for a family feels like home. The kids can play in the great room while we had coffee and read a book so nice. Very peaceful. Desk staff was kind and eager to help to make our stay outstanding. So close to Loveland no sitting in traffic for hours for us any more. We came up at night played games with the kids that they offer for our room. Sat in the hot tub amazing. The next morning we had a fantastic breakfast and went skiing. Absolute pleasure.

We stayed in Georgetown at the lodge for the weekend to catch the pond hockey tournament and had a great stay. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming and even offered breakfast an hour earlier to accommodate the players who needed to be at the pond early. The location was perfect and the price was very reasonable. We will definitely be back next year!

It is a beautiful place. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, and the location was perfect in beautiful Georgetown, close to Frisco and Breckenridge. I will definitely stay again.
